- The Ralph Whittington Collection: Ralph Whittington has been a major force in acquiring and documenting pornography since the 1970s. His personal collection, which includes more than 700 videos, 1,500 magazines, 100 books and four hundred 8-millimeter films, was recently acquired by the Museum of Sex.
- The Harmony Theatre Collection: The Harmony Theatre was located at Broadway and 48th Street during the 1980s and 90s. It was home to the Melody Burlesk. The NYC Museum of Sex houses a number of artifacts from the theatre, including promotional signs and decorations.
- The Lannan Foundation: The Lannan Foundation is based in New Mexico and is dedicated to supporting the creativity of exceptional contemporary artists. The foundation donated nineteen pieces to the Museum of Sex in 2000, including works by Gerald Gooch, Anita Steckel and Louis Renzoni.
