The Tailor Nightclub

The Tailor Nightclub is one of the hottest nightclubs that you can visit in New York City. It is located at 525 Broome Street between Thompson Street and Sullivan Street. A Modern Idea

The Tailor Nightclub in NYC got its start with Sam Mason, the former pasty chef at WD-50, who announced he would be opening a restaurant in Soho. The décor looks appealing: brown and beige on rough-hewn wood and retro wallpaper. The place looks like a cross between a post-modern farmhouse and a 1940s speakeasy. Unique and delicious, the food will pleasantly surprise you. Some of the unique combinations here include pork belly with miso butterscotch and foie gras infused with peanut butter. There is a combination of sweet and salty foods to sample so it will appeal to even the pickiest of eaters.

Meals cost approximately $11-$17 for a plate and are big enough for everyone else to try a few bites. There is also a prix fixe menu where you can choose either three sweet dishes or three salty dishes for $30. For a more sophisticated meal, Tailor offers a nine-course cocoa tasting that pairs the plant with other items such as duck or eel terrine. This costs $90 or $135 with the wine pairings.

Enjoy an After Dinner Drink

Tailor is also known for its drinks. Downstairs there is a bar area, which you can enjoy late into the night. The cocktails are just as daring as the food! Some of the unique combinations here include the Waylon, which adds smoked Coke to bourbon or the Crumble, which is brown butter run, pink clove, and scrumpy (a type of cider). The bar is open until 2 a.m. on weeknights and 3 a.m. on weekends.

Soho has some great nightclubs to visit when you are in town, including the Tailor Nightclub! Be prepared to get to the bars and clubs early because there will be a line later in the night and you won’t want to be outside on the sidewalk. Also, be sure to assign a designated driver and give him or her the keys to your New York car rental or SUV rental.
